To be honest I haven't heard of Zelienople until couple days ago and after listening to their newest album 'The World Is A House On Fire' I was extremely surprised to discover that Chicago based trio has been fruitfully creating over the past decade providing us with ten amazing albums and four EPs. I can't understand how this project could remain so overlooked, as it has all the features to become something really big, especially in times when the delight is taken in the melancholic dream pop so commonly. This 12", released on Type Records, moves in the depths of sorrow of my heart, absolutely beautiful. You can buy the album on vinyl from Discogs and in digital format from Boomkat.
