Summer Bummer - Mato Ica

Well, creating a soundcoud account was certainly a great idea. I already was introduced to some really nice new artists. The track below is from mysterious 17-years old Londoner who creates his lo-fi sounds under a name Mato Ica. I immediately liked 'Summer Bummer' probably because for me it goes so perfectly with the nice whether we're having now in the UK. Check out his atmospheric muffled vocals and melodic guitar, all done just by himself! I think that his work is of great potential so keep an eye on him! Other tracks are available on Mato Ica's soundcloud.

Clear Moon - Mount Eerie

Highly anticipated album by Mount Eerie was finally released two days ago. As always, Phil Elverum's project is doing very well and 'Clear Moon' is already getting great reviews. The release is kept in the lo-fi, lyrical fuzz-folk style typical for the artist. Give it a listen below and if you want buy from P. W. Elverum & Sun.

Ocean Floor For Everything - How To Dress Well (!)

I am extremly excited to hear something new from Tom Krell! Amazing, Brooklyn based artist recording as How To Dress Well indroduced us to this fresh track 'Ocean Floor For Everything' just today. It is the first song from his forthcoming album 'Total Loss' that will be out later this year (according to Pitchfork sometime this fall) on Weird World Records internationally. If we can treat this song as some kind of 'preview' of this album it will definiately be something really special. I hope HTDW will maintain his position as one of my favorite R&B/lo-fi artists. Track can be streamed and downloaded for free on soundcloud thanks to self-titled mag!
